PowerWebSockets includes assemblies for several target platforms. You may use any of the assemblies that are listed here.

Strong named and non strong named assemblies

The assemblies are contained in two folders of the PowerWebSockets installation, the "Assemblies" folder and the "NonStrongNamed" folder.

• The "Assemblies" folder contains strong named assemblies for the platforms that support strong named assemblies and non strong named assemblies for the platforms that do not support strong named assemblies.
• The "NonStrongNamed" folder contains only non-strong named assemblies for the platforms that support non strong named assemblies.

In the list of assemblies that follows, the two columns on the right indicate what type of assembly is contained in which folder.

Location of assemblies

When installed under the default installation folder, the path to the "Assemblies" folder is

• C:\Program Files\Noemax\PowerWebSockets Trial\Assemblies

and the path to the "NonStrongNamed" folder is

• C:\Program Files\Noemax\PowerWebSockets Trial\Assemblies\NonStrongNamed

Notes

• You may not distribute assemblies that are included in the Trial edition or located in the Samples folder or marked as "Trial".
• For information on the namespaces contained in each assembly please see the class reference.
