Fast Infoset Converter™ is a utility that
converts between text-encoded XML files and Fast Infoset-encoded XML files. You can download it freely from
here.
It performs streaming conversion from XML to FI and from FI to XML, it can optionally compresses FI files to
achieve minimum size without introducing the heavy processing penalties associated with compressing the larger XML files, it
can remove comments so that they are not included in FI files, and it can format text XML files either with indentation
to improve their readability or without indentation to decrease their size. At the end of each conversion operation it displays a
detailed log which reports the original size, the converter size and the ratio of these two sizes for each file converted.
