Noemax products are available in two editions, Professional and Enterprise, that offer the same
functionality but differ on the support provided, on whether source code is included and on how you may
distribute their code with your own software without paying per server, per client or any other type of runtime fees.
For each edition there are four types of licenses: the Personal license for use by one developer, the Team license
for up to four developers, the Site license for all developers at a single building, and the Custom license for
specific needs.
If you have any questions after reading this page, feel free to
ask us.
Determining how many developers must be licensed
Licenses must be obtained (a) for all individuals that will be installing a Noemax product, and (b) for
all individuals that will be including,
compiling, referencing, linking, accessing or otherwise using any Noemax code in software that they create, even if they
don't work directly with the Noemax code or if the Noemax code is included in software that others have created. Practically,
all developers participating in a project that involves the use of a Noemax product must be licensed to use that Noemax product.
All Noemax products are available in four
types of licenses:
- Personal license
For use by a single developer on up to two computers.
- Team license
Suitable for teams of up to four developers working on up to eight computers.
- Site license
Convenient and cost effective licensing covering all developers at a single building.
- Custom license
Specially prepared to meet the needs of your own organization.

License Agreement of the Professional edition or in the License Agreement of the Enterprise
edition.
Distributing Noemax assemblies with your own software
By purchasing either the Professional edition or the Enterprise edition you receive permission to include
the provided Noemax assemblies into your
own software and to distribute them together to end users as a single product, as long as your license agreement prohibits end
users from further distributing the Noemax assemblies. This restriction does not affect distribution of your products
through download sites, sales channels or other intermediaries that deliver them to end users without modifying or extending
them.
For the full details see the "Redistributables" section in the
License Agreement of the Professional edition or in the
License Agreement of the Enterprise edition.
Embedding Noemax code into your own software
By purchasing the Enterprise edition you additionally receive permission to compile the provided
Noemax source code together with the source code of your own software so that the compiled code of the Noemax product is embedded into the
compiled code of your own software. In this case you may distribute to end users the embedded Noemax code as an integral and
inseparable part of your own software, without being required to restrict further distribution. Note that the source code of the
Noemax product can never be distributed.
Code embedding also enables you to hide the use of Noemax products, to reduce application loading time and to
avoid using assemblies that are not signed with your own keys.
For the full details see the "Embedded Code" section in the
License Agreement of the Enterprise edition.
Using Noemax code in software development products
To include any Noemax code in a product which may be used as a component in software that others create you need
the prior written consent of Noemax.
If you would like to permit your customers to include, compile, reference, link or otherwise use such products in software that they create, please contact us
to request more information.
